Like everyone else that is the class, I hope for a change in
our ways as a society. We have discussed numerous things regarding institutions
of groups and the government that we would love to see be altered to strengthen
the Common Good. We can pinpoint examples of where we have been lied to or
practices that are greatly immoral, but how about we make it into a form that
people will truly enjoy. A movie. In the
article presented above, it provides a brief review of the movie, “Crossroads,”
a movie that stresses the importance of ideology in how we can possibly bring
about change. This sort of manifestation
of such a vital message is a route that is surely capable of catching the
attention of large groups of people. The strategic planning of this production
really did it’s homework to provide information and depict issues that ought to
be addressed by the people. Perhaps more importantly, the film closes by giving
information on just how easy it could be to bring a noticeable change into our
society, and essentially brings up the truth in that it doesn’t exactly take
everyone. Although it is important to stress that we should all at least desire
to live in a better world, if we cooperate and work as a cohesive group, we can
achieve quite a bit. “Crossroads,” although I have yet to view it, seems to
take an excellent approach as it doesn’t necessarily give a step-by-step
schedule, but as it addresses ideals; something that we must all make clear
before we put any plan in motion.
