Teen Suicide on the Rise Due to Bullying

http://www.hmoodle.com/teen-suicide-on-the-rise-what-can-be-done/

Every day Suicide rates increase due to many factors that surround people and affect people socially and emotionally. Suicidal rates in teen agers are increasing twice as fast and one of the factors of those stats going up is caused because of teenage bullying. A lot of teens get bullied on because of their sexuality and nowadays that is a very delicate topic to approach. Something needs to be done to stop this. But where do we start?

Many people say that it is the schools' fault that a lot of teens are being bullied because they don't pay close attention to their students and the environment around them. What schools should do to avoid this is to become stricter with students and to tolerate zero bullying on campus. another thing that has to be taught in schools is tolerance. Kids need to learn to tolerate different kids around them. Not everyone that surrounds them will be just like them and they have to learn how to live with different people and how to tolerate their differences even though they don't like them or they disagree with them .

Another factor that needs to be cared of is how parents treat their children and the attention they give them because this influences in how the kids are going to be with other kids and weather they are going to be the victims of bullying or the bullies themselves. What happens at home is reflected in some teens actions and it is extremely important to give them a good family foundation in order for them to act good towards the people around them.

In my opinion many things can be done to prevent this teen suicidal rates from raising but people have to actually do something about it. It can be stopped at an early stage but teachers as well as parents as well as students all have to do an extra effort in trying to prevent this kind of situations from occurring.
